This 14" x 10" RF Safety Danger sign is for placement where there is an imminent risk of serious injury or death. When an exposure (in an RF environment) could knock an individual down, cause a serious shock or burn, or even death, RFSigns.com recommends this Danger sign with a standard shock hazard symbol to get the point across quickly. The standard Do Not Touch symbol does not convey the urgency of the hazard of human contact with exposed RF conductors.
Danger signs should be posted at the actual location of the hazard. Danger signs are often over-used. To preserve their meaning, it is important to post Danger signs only at actual high-risk hazards. Use WN002 Warning signs on the envelope around a Danger hazard. For example, at an AM tower broadcast site, the live tower, live conductors, and live tuning equipment are sometimes exposed. Anything live and exposed should be marked Danger, and if necessary, cordoned off. Outside the space, Warning signs should be posted on fences and doors.
